Hello! Thanks for visiting. I imagine you are here because you want to make some dietary and lifestyle changes to improve your health. Choosing the right dietitian is important for optimal success so let me tell you a little about myself.
I have an MS in Dietetics & BS in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Bastyr University, and an AA in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management from the University of Montana. I don't just love learning about food; I also spent several years as a professional pastry chef in Seattle, WA.
As a mother of 2 rugrats I am passionate about pediatric and family nutrition and maintaining a healthy relationship with food. I can help you identify foods that you may be sensitive to and help you build meals that support and not harm your body.
I also have experience working with diabetes and weight management to improve overall health. I follow current literature and take an evidenced based approach to my counseling. Although I research them, I am not a fan of "diets". Instead I follow a holistic approach and strongly believe that whole foods, especially when combined with exercise you enjoy, can heal the body.
Let's schedule an initial phone call and see if we are a good fit. I would love to make your health and fitness goals a reality and give you tools that will last a lifetime.
